

I Thought she was JokingShe always laughed, no matter what was said or done; she smiled and laughed looking genuinely happy. I had never seen her cry, not even look slightly sad. She did however, sometimes fall silent, her eyes glazed over, lost in thought. At those times she didn’t smile, and if someone said her name or touched her shoulder gently to get her attention, she would wince and then hurry to cover it with a huge grin. I didn’t understand her, though I know I wanted to. I wanted for her to open up, because she never told anything about herself, the only thing she had ever told me was about her cat. I didn’t know if she had any siblings, nor how her parentI Thought she was Joking


IronyOh, life, sweet, double irony. I couldn’t find my closet key. And people laughed, they laughed aloud, When I hid behind the big, grey crowd. I couldn’t feel, what they would say, I couldn’t deal, just sit and pray. And life just passed, I came along, Like gremlins in another song.Irony
